After the launch of the next-generation PlayStation 5, we have seen so much support from players that some countries have not even imported enough to sell to consumers. In particular, we are interested in the PlayStation 3, because it is in the older generation, there are no new games to play on this machine, so Sony decided to close the PlayStation Store on the PS3. And PS Vita in the near future.

According to an official announcement from Sony, it will close the PlayStation Store for PS3 on July 2, 2021. The online game market on the PS Vita will also close on August 27, 2021. This means that all PS3, Vita and PSP game owners will no longer be able to download or purchase games to play on their consoles in the near future.

However, they can still download any game they have already downloaded before, as well as play games that have already been downloaded. So, those who like to play games on PS3 can download the games they want to play before the day the above game market is officially closed.
